Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit Sun Dipped Review
Hi loves! Today, I will be reviewing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit that I ordered from Ulta. I already own the ABH Glow Kit in That Glow and they are my favorite powder highlighters ever. I adore the stunning shades and beautiful formula so when I saw ABH came out with a new kit with deeper shades, I was eager to put it to the test and see if it matches in quality. What it is: Four velvety powders that instantly cast a lit-from-within glow (Packaging excerpt).
Price: $40, 4 x 0.26 oz
Where to Buy: Ulta, Sephora, ABH websitePackaging: I love how compact and sleek the packaging is. It has a decent weight, feels sturdy in the hands, and stays closed with a strong magnetic closure. I have had no issues traveling with the other ABH Glow Kit, so this would also withstand the abuse of travel in a cosmetics bag. Additionally, these individual powders can be removed from their packaging and placed in Z- palettes. Extra bonus points!Formula: I adore the formula of these highlighters! They are so creamy and I had zero issues with fallout when dipping my brush in these powders. These are so smooth and finely milled, imparting a stunning sheen without a hint of glitter. They are insanely pigmented so a little goes a long way or you can pack it on for intense luminosity.Color: This sleek compact comes with 4 warm shades of super pigmented highlight powders. You can rock whichever color fits your mood or custom mix your perfect shade. My favorite shades are Tourmaline, a unique rose-gold, and Moonstone, a soft champagne.
Swatches: Application: I like using a fan brush to apply a wash of this on the highpoints of the cheekbones and a bit on the tip of my nose. For the eyes, I use a detailed brush for the inner corners and a flat shader brush for under the brows. I prefer a natural glow for everyday, but if desired, you can really pack on the highlighter for photos or a night out.Overall Rating: I rate the ABH Sun Dipped Glow Kit as 10/10 stars! I held this product to very high expectations because of my love for That Glow Kit, and this definitely met them. For $40, this is actually a pretty good value for a gorgeous assortment of 4 high quality highlighters. All these shades would look particularly stunning on those with medium to deeper skin tones. For those who are more fair, Bronzed and Tourmaline may be too dark as highlighters, but they could be used as a shimmery blush/bronzer topper. If you have a lighter skin tone and want to utilize all the shades for highlighting, I would recommend the Gleam Kit (pink/cooler tones) or the That Glow Kit (golden tones). I am in LOVE with this Glow Kit and would recommend it as an amazing addition to your highlight collection!
Have you tried the ABH Sun Dipped Glow Kit? What are your thoughts on the product?
