Beauteque Monthly Beauty Box June 2019 Unboxing and Review

Hi dolls! Today, I’m reviewing the Beauteque Monthly Beauty Box from the month of June! You can find my review of January’s box here. The Beauty Box is Beauteque’s monthly subscription which supplies an assortment of 6 full sized Asian/ Korean skincare, makeup, body, and haircare products for $22 (plus shipping) a month. You can check out more information about Beauteque and sign up here.June’s theme was Botanical Beauty and came with 6 products. It also included an insert with product descriptions and directions. This came in super handy as the labels on the actual products are usually in a different language.

Chosungah Wonder Bath Super Vegitoks 2 Step Mask – Retail Price $3

This mask consists of 2 products/ steps. Step 1 is a thick, green cleanser that bubbles up once applied on the skin. I wouldn’t use it to remove a full face of makeup, but it did the job of cleansing the skin, without stripping it of its natural oils. After I rinsed off the bubbly cleanser, I applied Step 2 which was the sheet mask. This sheet mask smelled incredible, like fresh cut roses, and felt so hydrating and cooling on the skin. The 2 Step process is a little extra, not gonna lie, but the spa treatment itself felt amazing!

Organic Farm Rose Water Skin Pads – Retail Price $10

I LOVE rose water sprays so I was stoked to try these Skin Pads. According to the directions, these rose water pads should be applied all over the skin after cleansing and toning. I appreciate that these cotton pads are all generously saturated with product. The rose water smells absolutely amazing and adds an extra boost of hydration to the skin.

Cactus Headband – Retail Price $8

Seriously, how cute is this cactus headband? The terry cloth material is super soft and keeps my hair in place during my nighttime skincare routine. Need I say more?

On the Body Sweet Love Body Lotion – Retail Price $12

This body lotion smells incredible, like sweet roses and soft cashmere. I can’t get over how lovely this scent is! I like applying this all over right after a shower. The formula is ultra creamy, hydrating, and absorbs quickly without leaving behind any tackiness.

Skylake Oriental Cleansing Powder – Retail Price $15

This is one of the most unique Korean skincare products I’ve tried to date. You can mix these powders with water or a cleanser to make your own facial scrub. I don’t love the scent of this at all (turmeric, I think?), but it left my skin feeling clean and exfoliated. I can see these as a travel friendly option because of the compact packaging. However, for everyday use, they’re a little messy to work with.

Skylake Natural Moisture Lip Balm – Retail Price $8

This lip balm has an herbal scent and hydrates, though a little on the waxy side. My lip balm arrived melted and Beauteque quickly sent a replacement with a sheet mask as an apology, so I give them mad props for great customer service. Overall Rating: I was very happy with June’s Beauteque Beauty Box so I’m giving it a rating of 9/10 stars based on my first impressions. The Beauty Box had a retail value of $56, and I really enjoyed the botanical skincare theme. My favorite picks of the bunch are Sweet Love Body Lotion and Rose Water Skin Pads.
