Boxycharm Boxy PopUp Haul and Review
Occasionally, Boxycharm hosts their Boxy PopUp Shop, which offers many makeup, skincare, haircare, and lifestyle products at steep discounts, exclusively for their subscribers (sign up here). Naturally, this has my name written all over it. I like taking this opportunity to try new products, plus stock up on my favorites. The next PopUp Shop is opening this week, so in anticipation of the event, I wanted to share with you my haul from a previous PopUp!
- Lilly Lashes Gaia Faux Mink Lashes – $45 (Buy here)
I’ll be honest, these lightweight, yet dramatic lashes look intense against my smaller almond eyes in person. I prefer a more natural lash or just mascara for everyday. However, I love the wispy fluttery style and they photograph beautifully so I reserve them for my makeup pictures.
- Alamar Cosmetics Ojitos Brush Set – $18 (Buy Here)
This is such a cute set of eye brushes. I love the fun, bright handles while the synthetic brushes are super soft and apply shadows beautifully.
- IGK Antisocial Overnight Bond Building Dry Hair Mask – $69 (Buy Here)
I ordered this hair mask after I had just bleached the living daylights out of my hair, going from dark brunette to platinum blonde. My parched and damaged strands needed all the TLC it could get. Admittedly, this is the only product in the bunch I have not put to the test yet, but I fully intend to! I am fascinated by its unique concept of a dry, powder hair mask.
- GlamGlow SuperSerum 6 Acid Treatment – $40 (Buy Here)
All I hear about GlamGlow are their Mask Treatments, but this SuperSerum is incredible. After incorporating this into my day and nighttime skincare routine for only three days, my skin looks noticeably more taut and plump. I have to do a double take because it looks like I got Botox, or at least that’s what I assume I would look like with Botox 🤣This is a product I would recommend and repurchase, over and over again.
- Touch in Sol No More Pore Blem Prime Essence – $21 (Buy Here)
I assumed this watery primer would not be hydrating enough for my dry skin, but its moisturizing formula makes for a smooth canvas before foundation application. My dry skin just soaks this all up! I love this so much it makes me want to try their Priming Water, which targets dry skin.
6. Perricone MD Citrus Brightening Cleanser – $26 (Buy Here)
The dark glass bottle with the apothecary-style packaging and handy pump is so chic. I totally dig the vibe. A little bit of this gel cleanser goes a long way in lathering up and rinsing clean. I enjoy this as a part of my morning routine as it feels refreshing and invigorating. However, it leaves my dry skin craving hydration immediately after cleansing. I am happy with this purchase at the discounted price. Though, I do not see enough of an improvement to my skin to warrant a full price repurchase.
7. TonyMoly The Chok Chok Green Tea Cleanser – $26 (Buy Here)
I purchased two bottles of this TonyMoly Cleanser because of its steeply discounted price, figuring I didn’t have much to lose. I gave one of them to my husband to put to the test. You guys, he loved it so much, he took my second bottle and refuses to let me try it 🙈 The hubby has oily skin, and he says a pea size amount of this cream lathers up so much and leaves his skin feeling clear and clean. He raves that this is his holy grail cleanser and has already requested a refill should this ever be available in Boxy PopUp again.
Do you spot any of your favorites? Will you be picking anything up from the Boxy Pop Up?
XO,
Mary Dee
