By Wishtrend is an in-house brand of Wishtrend.com which aims to satisfy their customers’ various skin concerns. They selectively choose their products’ ingredients to maximize effects and are always listening to customers’ feedback to improve their products. For example, they developed their Quad Active Boosting Essence for those who did not like the sticky feeling from their Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule. The essence happens to be my holy grail that I have been reaching for daily (review here). Naturally, this also piqued by curiosity about said ampoule. Today, I wanted  to share my review after finally trying the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule!

This ampoule contains Houttuynia Cordata Extract effective in soothing acne instead of water and 15% Propolis with powerful antioxidant effects. The product improves acne and sensitive skin through powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects and immune system enhancement (wishtrend.com).This ampoule comes in a chic, copper glass bottle. I appreciate the dropper, which allows for a precise dosage every time. For anyone who dislikes fragrances in their skincare, this has no scent, as far as I can detect.I am a huge fan of propolis skincare for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. I apply this ampoule after the By Wishtrend Pure Vitamin C 21.5% Advanced Serum, as a part of my day and nighttime skincare routine. This is a great accompaniment as it calms and rehydrates the skin after the high concentration of ascorbic acid. Twice daily, I dispense a dime-sized amount onto my fingers and pat gently until it is fully absorbed.I want to note that this is not the most lightweight propolis serum I have tried to date, though it is not greasy by any means. The iUNIK Propolis Serum has a lighter viscosity and absorbs a little quicker. This ampoule takes a little more time to fully absorb. It leaves a slightly more slick, though again not at all greasy, feel on the skin, which I also don’t mind whatsoever. I have very dry skin, so I gladly embrace the extra layer of hydration.This ampoule claims to be effective on acne in the sense that it will prevent future acne while healing post acne scars. It also has skin brightening benefits to improve uneven skin tones and hyperpigmentation. Lastly, it prevents premature skin again by improving skin elasticity.If you are expecting overnight results in clearing up acne breakouts, this is not it. In fact, when you find that miracle product, please let me know, thank you kindly 😉 Instead, this gentle serum contains ultra soothing ingredients that aid in repairing a compromised skin barrier. As it calms inflammation and adds hydration, it will also speed up the healing process to reduce acne scarring and help prevent new breakouts. The Quad Active Boosting Essence (review here) is still my first love, but I am happy with the results that the combination of both ampoule and essence provide.
