This essence is recommended as a serum booster that contains ‘Quad Active’ Ingredients: 3 Complex Ingredients (Morus Alba Bark Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Leaf Extract, Schisandra Chinensis Fruit Extract), Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water, and Propolis. These ingredients are widely known to help with anti-inflammatory, anti-pollution, and anti-bacterial effects to maintain your skin to stay healthy and lively. Also, with supporting ingredients Black Tea and Honey, it provides moisturizing effects to the skin (wishtrend.com).In case you missed my previous skincare post (here), my skin had been breaking out more so than it had in years. I was desperate to find some relief for this sudden bout of acne on my otherwise clear skin. An essence with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties sounds just like what the doctor ordered.Is it just me or is this golden glass bottle totally chic and fabulous? It is so aesthetically pleasing and such a treat to look at on my vanity. Second, for anyone who dislikes fragrances in their skincare, this has no scent, as far as I can detect.I apply this essence after my toner, but before serums, as a part of my day and nighttime skincare routine. I dispense 3-4 drops into the palm of my hands and pat gently until it is fully absorbed. This is a true watery essence, with little to no viscosity. It honestly looks and feels just like water on the skin.Because of its lightweight texture and fast absorption, I can see this benefiting both dry and normal/ combination skintypes. My skin instantly feels more hydrated and supple, ready to absorb the following serums and skin treatments.For awhile there, I had skipped the extra step of applying an essence in my skincare routine, but now I never want to be without one again. It makes such a difference!
