Colourpop Can You Knot Lip Bundle Review

Happy Tuesday, loves!  I hope you’re having a great week so far!  Today, I will be reviewing the Colourpop Can You Knot Lip Bundle.  I own a ton of Colourpop lippies so when they were having their Cyber Monday sale, I stocked up on some more.  This Lip Bundle caught my eye because it consists of 3 plum shades in various finishes, perfect for the winter months when you crave a more dramatic lip.  If sold separately, these lippies are $6 each, so you are saving $3 total by purchasing the bundle, which retails for $15.

This bundle contains 1 Ultra Satin Lip, 1 Ultra Matte Lip, and 1 Ultra Glossy Lip.

Hutch is a deep blackened violet in a satin finish.  I love the unique color, but it can apply slightly patchy as you can see from the swatch.  It dries down quickly, but it is not completely transfer proof.  If you are drinking coffee, there will be stains on the mug, but this does really last on the lips in between meals.

Notion is a rich red violet in a matte finish.  Although this is an Ultra Matte Lip, it applies very smoothly and wears very comfortably.  This is transfer proof and lasts all day.  It also wears off beautifully, leaving behind a rosy stain.  I love this liquid lipstick.

Sookie is a rich plum in a glossy finish.  I personally don’t gravitate towards lipglosses in deeper shades as they are higher maintenance.  They tend to smear or move around so you have to constantly monitor your lips throughout the day.  Sookie is pigmented, but it is not fully opaque as say, the NYX Intense Butter Lip Glosses.  The effect reminds me of the stain left behind when you’ve been eating a popsicle.  

Overall Rating:  I rate this Can You Knot Lip Bundle as 9 out of 10 stars.  I love the plummy color selection, pigmentation, and you can’t beat the value for the price.  I really enjoyed this bundle and highly recommend it if you love deeper shades of lipstick.  This would make a great Christmas gift for a makeup lover or serves as a good introduction to Colourpop lip products.  My favorite pick of the three is the Ultra Matte Lip in Notion 😉
