Colourpop Yes, Please! Eyeshadow Palette Review
Happy Sunday, loves! Greetings from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! ? The hubs and I are in the Keystone State for the holiday weekend to attend his side of the family’s first Annual Family Reunion. I come from a smaller family so it’s really neat to meet new relatives from all over the country 🙂 Still, I did not want to miss out on reviewing the Colourpop Yes, Please! Eyeshadow Palette! I received this in my recent Colourpop Mini Haul (blogpost here) and was so impressed with its performance, I wanted to dedicate a full blogpost review. I missed out on the initial release of the Palette, but couldn’t be happier that I was finally able to get my hands on it.What it is: Our first ever fixed 12 pan palette is all about that golden hour glow – the hottest shades inspired by our fave time of the day (colourpop.com).
Price: $16, 12 x 0.85g (colourpop.com)Packaging: I like that the palette is super sleek, compact, sturdy, and travel friendly. I also dig the fun white/ yellow packaging, and that the shade names are directly on the back of the palette. Yes, the white packaging gets dirty very quickly, but I personally don’t mind. Formula: I was totally blown away by the quality of these eyeshadows! The formula is so creamy like buttaah, and is incredibly pigmented. They blend like a dream on the eyes and every single shade has performed fabulously. The mattes are just as beautiful as the shimmers. They are definitely on the softer side, so there was quite a bit of kick up and fallout when dipping my brush into the shadows. However, this isn’t an issue for me as I apply my eyeshadow before my face makeup anyways.Color: I could rock warm smokey eyes every single day so naturally, the shade selection in this palette is totally my jam! Doesn’t this color scheme just remind you of sunsets and Autumn? ? I love the mix of eight matte and four metallic shades, ranging from light to dark. There are so many different combinations you can do to create a complete eye look. I adore every single shade!Swatches: These swatches honestly don’t do the shadows justice. They are even more vibrant and pigmented on the eyes.Overall Rating: I am more than satisfied with the Colourpop Yes, Please! Eyeshadow Palette so I award it a rating of 10/10 stars! $16 is an unbeatable price for a gorgeous assortment of 12 buttery smooth, ultra pigmented eyeshadows . I am happy to report that Colourpop’s Pressed Eyeshadows completely live up to the hype. This has quickly become one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes ever. I give this palette two thumbs up and highly recommend adding it to your makeup collection! ?
