Cover FX Custom Enhancing Drops Review and Swatches

September 20 – Today’s products are the Cover FX Custom Enhancing and Glitter Drops, regularly $42, which has been marked down to $21 (Buy here).

What it is: Available in universal shades, these customizable illuminating drops can be used to create a buildable highlight. Use them alone for a light reflective strobing effect even on top of powder, or add them to your favorite liquid foundation or skincare product for an all-over glow (ulta.com).There are 7 shades of the Custom Enhancing Drops and 3 of the Glitter Drops offered on the Ulta website. I can only speak for the Enhancer Drops as those are the only ones I’ve tried so far. As you can tell, I’ve built an arsenal just from collecting the deluxe samples. A little of this goes a long way, so I don’t think I would ever run out of product. You can add this to your foundation for an all over luminosity, if so desired, but I personally like using this on its own as a dewy highlighter. I don’t recommend applying this on top of a powder, as it can become patchy. Instead, I blend a light amount directly over my creamy foundations, onto the highpoints of my cheekbones with a damp beauty sponge. A damp sponge really helps press the product into the skin for a more seamless, natural glow. Moonlight is the classic pale, champagne shade.If you were ever interested in trying these liquid highlighters, now is a great time to invest, as I don’t think you could ever run out of the full sized bottle.
