December Monthly Empties and Reviews: Makeup, Skincare, Haircare

Happy New Year, fam! Today, I’m sharing with you my Product Empties from the month of December, encompassing makeup, skincare, haircare, and bodycare. Each of these products will be accompanied by a mini review, and recommendation on whether or not I would repurchase.

MAKEUP

Essence Longlasting Eye Pencil in Black Fever:  I picked up this retractable cream liner on a whim at Ulta just to hit a coupon threshold and o my goodness, I was so pleasantly impressed by its performance. The long-lasting formula is pitch black and glides on the waterline like a dream. This is so freaking good and one of the best, not to mention most affordable, eyeliners from the drugstore. Buy here.

Wet n Wild H2O Proof Liquid Liner: This is my holy grail liquid eyeliner, from drugstore to high-end! The formula glides on so smoothly, dries to a matte, pitch-black finish, and stays on until you wash it off. Its only flaw is the hard felt tip brush which makes it difficult to draw a sharp wing on its own. I like using another precise brush tip eyeliner to first draw a sharp wing and then go over it with this one to lock the look in all day. It does not budge and I can’t be without this liquid liner! Buy here.

SKINCARE

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream: Tell me this cream doesn’t have the most beautiful and mesmerizing texture. I’ve been incorporating this cream into my nighttime skincare routine and it is seriously such a pleasure to work with. This moisturizer has a lightweight consistency, and instantly soothes any irritation, while still providing ample hydration. My skin looks noticeably more calm and hydrated by morning. Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask:  This gentle sheet mask instantly soothes and cools my skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and balanced. I love reaching for sheet masks when my skin is feeling particularly parched and dehydrated. Buy here.

HAIRCARE
