Favorite Nude Lipsticks and Lipglosses with Swatches

Can you ever have enough nude lipsticks?  I think not!  Nude is my favorite shade to rock all day, everyday with every makeup look.  I decided to compile a list of my top favorite nude lip products, with everything ranging from lipliners, to lipsticks, and lipglosses!  Please read on to see my picks and if any of your favorites are on the list.

LIPLINER

Jordana Easyliner Retractable Pencil in Rock n Rose: The formula of these lipliners are so creamy, pigmented, and glides on like a dream.  The twist top is very convenient for travel because you don’t need to worry about packing a pencil sharpener.  Rock n’ Rose is my go-to nude lipliner and I have backups upon backups of these.

LIQUID LIPSTICK

Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Nudist Peach:  I dedicated an entire blogpost to the Catsuit formula which you can find here.  Nudist Peach is the perfect peachy nude shade, complimenting my skintone.  The formula is definitely drying, so make sure to moisturize before application, but I personally don’t mind because I love the color that much.

Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Adorable:  This has a yummy vanilla cake batter scent that dries down completely matte, but remains comfortable and long-lasting.  This pinky nude is totally foolproof, and looks good with both natural and dark eye looks.  This is my go-to liquid lipstick on my tropical vacations because it stays put.Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Bow n Arrow:  Kat Von D’s nude formula is pigmented and applies smoothly, without any patchiness.  Bow n Arrow is more of a cool-toned greige nude, which makes it unique amongst my other warm nudes.

Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick in Exposed:  All the liquid lipsticks I’ve tried from Kylie have definitely been on the drying side so I always apply a layer of emollient lip balm before application.  It prevents the lipstick from drying down completely matte and settling into the lines.  I love Kylie’s packaging and Exposed is a beautiful warm, pumpkin nude.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Strip:  I own a lot of Colourpop Lippies, particularly nude shades, but Strip is my favorite of them all.  Strip is a gorgeous warm peachy nude that is not too light that it washes me out, but not too dark that it competes with smokey eyes.  This pigmented Ultra Satin Lip applies beautifully and sets very comfortably on the lips.Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks in Dubai and Pasadena:  Ofra makes probably the most comfortable, long-lasting liquid lipstick formula, in my opinion.  I mixed Dubai (pale nude) over Pasadena (warm pink) for my perfect nude, which I wore for my beach wedding photos.  It photographed beautifully and never dried out my lips.NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi:  NYX’s formula has a very light, whipped formula that feels so comfortable on the lips.  It is not transfer proof or long-lasting, but it’s a breeze to reapply.  In addition to Abu Dhabi, a warm terracotta, I also enjoy the shade London, which I’ve misplaced 😅

CREAM LIPSTICK

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in #14:  Rimmel also has another Kate Moss Lipstick line with the adorable nude packaging, but #14 in the classic black tube is still my favorite shade.  The formula is so creamy and glides on the lips like a dream.  It doesn’t last very long, but it feels so comfortable on that I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day.Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Mattes Lipstick in Nude Embrace: These are easily my favorite matte lipsticks from the drugstore.  The shade range is gorgeous, while the formula is creamy and pigmented.  The lipsticks dry down completely matte and are long-lasting, but they will transfer if you eat or drink.Makeup Revolution Renaissance Lipstick in Vow: First off, the rose gold packaging is tres chic.  Second, Vow is a stunning warm nude that complements any eye look without washing me out.  The formula is creamy, but not to the point where it moves around.  It saturates the lips in opaque color and has a matte finish that lasts comfortably.

LIPGLOSS

Buxom Full On Lip Cream in White Russian: These lip creams give an intense shine that makes your lips look plump and juicy, without ever feeling sticky.  I actually enjoy the slight mint-y tingle, which is not at all uncomfortable, but rather nice and cooling.  I always pack White Russian with me when I’m traveling.NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée:  These Butter Glosses are so effortless, that I can easily apply the nude shades without a mirror.  The formula is lightweight, high shine, and feels moisturizing on the lips.  Their pigmentation is on the sheer side, but is buildable to opacity.  Creme Brûlée is a pinky nude which layers beautifully over other nude lipsticks.

Kylie Cosmetics Gloss in Literally:  I don’t love the brush applicator, which takes more time to fill in the lips than the standard doe foot applicator, but I love this Literally shade.  It comes down to a matter of preference, but I enjoy the strong cake frosting scent.  The formula is very pigmented and very thick, which makes it last so long on the lips.  Have you tried any of these nude lippies?  What are your favorite nude lip products?  I welcome all recommendations because gosh knows, I need more! 😉
