Hi dolls! Today, I’m sharing with you my Product Empties from the month of February, encompassing makeup, skincare, health, and lifestyle. Each of these products will be accompanied by a mini review, and recommendation on whether or not I would repurchase.

MAKEUP

SheGlam Skinny Brow Pencil in Dark Brown:  When it comes to brow pencils, there are so many affordable options at the drugstore that it’s hard for me to justify paying over $10 for one. SheGlam is Shein’s own makeup brand and their prices are extremely reasonable! In addition to the chic nude packaging, this slim pencil did a wonderful job of quickly filling in brows with natural brow strokes. I also appreciate that it includes a spoolie on the other end to blend out the product. I would repurchase this in a heartbeat! Buy here. Other affordable drugstore options are the ELF Ultra Precise Brow Pencil (Buy here) or L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer (Buy here).

ELF Lip Exfoliator: This is an ELF holy grail product I keep repurchasing over and over again. I love the convenient lipstick bullet packaging of the lip scrub as opposed to standard jars where there is the hassle of scooping the product out with your fingers. I have tried all the flavors and my favorite are Rose, Grapefruit, and Brown Sugar. Buy here.

SKINCARE

Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner: I dedicated an entire blogpost review to my favorite Good Molecules products including this toner, which you can read here. In short, I fell even more in love with this toner the more I used it. The ultra gentle formula instantly cleanses and balances my skin to prepare for my essences and serums. I’ve been so impressed with Good Molecules products lately and recommend them wholeheartedly. (Buy here).

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask: This jelly type sheet mask consists of two pieces to better conform to the face. Although it felt cooling and soothing during the treatment, I did not see enough of an improvement in the overall condition of my skin to justify the high price tag. I enjoyed the mask, but I expected more long-lasting hydration. Buy here. A more affordable, hydrating option is the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask (Buy here).

By Wishtrend Pure Vitamin C 21.5% Advanced Serum: Prior to purchasing this, I had finished two bottles of Vitamin C Serums to build up my skin’s tolerance for the higher concentration of Ascorbic Acid. The first couple times I applied this serum, there was a slight tingling sensation, which eventually dissipated altogether. The formula is watery and absorbs very quickly, with zero tackiness or oily feel. Overall, I am happy with the brightening effects, but the search continues for a corrective serum to tackle my stubborn discoloration and hyperpigmentation. Buy here. If you are just starting out with Vitamin C Serums, I highly recommend the ultra gentle Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin drop (review here, buy here) combined with the Purito Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream, to enhance the brightening effects (review here, buy here). 

By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule: I dedicated an entire blogpost review to this ampoule, which you can read here. In short, if you are expecting overnight results in clearing up acne breakouts, this is not it. In fact, when you find that miracle product, please let me know, thank you kindly Instead, this gentle serum contains ultra soothing ingredients that aid in repairing a compromised skin barrier. As it calms inflammation and adds hydration, it will also speed up the healing process to reduce acne scarring and help prevent new breakouts. The By Wishtrend Quad Active Boosting Essence (review here, buy here) is still my first love, but I am happy with the results that the combination of both ampoule and essence provide. Buy here.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off:  This Black Sugar Wash Off Mask smells just as delicious as it sounds, making for a yummy, sensory experience every time. The sugar granules are ultra gentle and slowly dissolve as you massage the mask into the skin, so there is no harshness or irritation. When I don’t have the time or patience to leave this on for the recommended 10-15 minutes, I just massage it all over my face and neck as a quick exfoliant. HEALTH/ LIFESTYLE

Vegepower Women’s Biotin Hair Vitamins:  Biotin and Collagen are two beauty supplements I consistently rely on for hair, skin, and nail support. When they happen to come in gummies form, even better! These Biotin gummy bears were incredibly fruity and delicious. No complaints here, I would totally repurchase! Buy here.

Curated by Nature Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies:  I have long wanted to reap the health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar (better digestion, lower blood sugar levels, improve immune system), but I absolutely cannot stomach the smell or taste 🤢. Trust me, both my husband and I have tried to no avail. These gummy bears taste so good! I don’t know how they did it, but I cannot taste the dreaded ACV, whatsoever. The two pack of these gummies is the cheapest I have found on Amazon, while still having the highest dosage of ACV. I already have a second bottle on standby. Buy here.
