Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops Korean Skincare Review
Glow Recipe is a hugely popular Korean Skincare brand that has always intrigued me with their fruit-themed products and remarkably adorable packaging. I was stoked when they gifted me their newest skincare release, the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. Today, I wanted to share with you my review and experience!

Reveal a dewy glow instantly and over time with this niacinamide-infused highlighting serum, formulated without mica, glitter, or pearls. This first of its kind highlighting skincare + makeup hybrid helps visibly brighten skin and deliver an effortless glow instantly and over time, while helping to reduce hyperpigmentation and without leaving a gray cast (glowrecipe.com).I think we can all agree, this teardrop-shaped glass bottle with the handy pump is so darn cute! I find that one full pump dispenses just the right amount of serum to cover my entire face and neck. As a bonus, the classic Glow Recipe watermelon scent is just so yummy and makes for a sensory experience every time. The key ingredients in this serum include Watermelon, Niacinimide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Moringa Seed Oil. Watermelon is packed with protective vitamins A and C to help moisturize and plump fine lines and wrinkles. Niacinamide is a powerful vitamin and antioxidant that evens out skin tone, helps reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation/dark spots, and supports the skin barrier. Hyaluronic Acid contains moisture-binding properties and can hold 1000x its weight in water to reveal supple and bouncy skin. Moringa Seed Oil is a non-comedogenic oil that contains Vitamin E to help hydrate and soothe skin. This lightweight serum can be worn alone to give a natural dewy finish to the skin or on top of makeup as a subtle highlight, but my preferred method is layering it under my BB Creams/ foundations as a primer. It adds an extra layer of hydration (yes, please!) and healthy glow to the skin. This is not a makeup primer that will fill in pores or increase the longevity of your makeup. However, I enjoy this hybrid concept as I don’t have to worry about my makeup primer irritating my skin, clogging my pores, or causing more breakouts. Once worked into the skin, this gel serum melts into a watery texture that sinks right in with no tackiness or greasiness. The ultra gentle and non-irritating formula absorbs quickly and dries down completely clear. It just feels very cooling and refreshing, making it a joy to work with every time. Because of its ultra lightweight texture and fast absorption, I can see this benefiting especially combination and oily skin types. My skin has been severely dry this winter, and these Dew Drops could not have come at a better time. It is the perfect hybrid between skincare (hello, Niacinamide!) and makeup. So far, this has been my favorite Glow Recipe product I’ve tried to date! Buy here.
