Herbal Dynamics Beauty Skincare: Vitamin C Serum, Squalane Argan Oil, Cleanser

Herbal Dynamics Beauty is a skincare brand that harnesses the power of plant-based ingredients and extracts to deliver functional skincare benefits. Their philosophy lies in pairing the finest botanical ingredients with cutting-edge science. I have been intrigued by the brand after seeing them on my Instagram feed, so I was stoked when they kindly gifted me a range of their products to test out. Today, I wanted to share my review of their Rosehip Foaming Cleanser, Squalane & Argan Oil Serum, Vitamin C Serum, and Rich Body Butter! 

As a reference, my skin type is very dry, with hyperpigmentation leftover from acne scars. Improving texture and tone while maintaining hydration has always been my biggest skin concerns.

Our Clean & Calm foaming face cleanser supports the skin’s natural pH balance, while gently lifting surface impurities. This cleanser has a very satisfying foam lather that rinses clean, without leaving skin feeling overly tight or uncomfortable. For those who are sensitive to fragrances, this does have a light floral scent, though I personally experienced no irritation. With my very dry skin, I still prefer a cream or gel cleanser, so I passed this along to my husband who has combination/oily skin instead. He said he enjoyed it and is just about to run out! Buy here

RevitAge Replenishing Oil is 100% Organic, pure and packed with active botanicals for the most effective results. Squalane pairs with an abundance of nutritive oils like argan and jojoba, as well antiaging botanicals like myrrh and tiare flower oil. If you have severely dry, dehydrated skin, this oil serum is for you. Boy does this blend of 10 plant oils pack a punch in terms of hydration! There is no scent, as far as I can detect. As this feels just like pure oil on the skin, it might be too heavy and dewy for the daytime and especially for those with combination/oily skin types. I like using this as the last step of my nighttime routine when my skin is feeling particularly parched to really lock in moisture overnight. Buy here

Powerful, proven ingredients in the HD Beauty Vitamin C Rejuvenating Serum are carefully combined to promote youthful, radiant skin. Vitamin C, green tea, gotu kola, and speedwell flower rejuvenate, while aloe and hyaluronic acid hydrate (herbaldynamicsbeauty.com).

 

This watery serum has a very faint grape scent, feels lightweight, and absorbs quickly into the skin. For the high percentage of Vitamin C (Ethyl Ascorbate), this is very gentle and I did not experience any stinging or irritation. I don’t love that this isn’t in a dark glass bottle to preserve the ingredients, but I imagine with daily use, you’ll finish the product before it becomes compromised. I still have to use this further to attest to its brightening effects so stay tuned! Buy here

This decadent blend of soft butters combines with pistachio and macadamia oils for fast-absorbing, non-greasy moisture that leaves skin silky. Squalane and amino acids reinforce skin’s natural barrier and reduce signs of aging (herbaldynamicsbeauty.com).

This rich body butter has a whipped cream frosting texture that melts into my skin, leaving it so soft and moisturized. The pistachio meets cocoa butter scent smells absolutely delicious and I just slather myself in this after every shower. This was easily my favorite product of the bunch and I am already close to emptying the jar. Buy here
