Ipsy April 2019 Glam Bag Unboxing and First Impressions

Hiii, dolls!!! Long time, no see! 👋 In case you don’t follow me on Instagram, I was traveling Asia in the month of March, hence my long hiatus from the blog. Well, today, I’m back at it again with a review of April’s Ipsy Glam Bag! You can find my February Ipsy Glam Bag here. I will be catching up on all of March’s subscription boxes as soon as possible! Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that provides 5-6 sample/full-sized items for $10/month. What I like about Ipsy is that the price encompasses shipping, and it regularly includes full sized products in a cute cosmetics bag (sign up here).April’s Glam Bag comes with 5 products in this adorable lemon print pouch. I am digging the tropical/ fruit trend for summer so I actually might hang onto this bag!

Buxom Lash Volumizing Mascara in Blackest Black – Deluxe Sized – (Buy here)

This mascara has a rather big, spiky brush that gives definition to the lashes without the clumps. I have very short, sparse lashes so I need a more heavy duty volumizing formula. However, this works well for my bottom lashes where I prefer a more natural look.

I always associate lip stains with liquids or gels that will dry out my lips, but this is nothing like that at all. The lightweight cream formula coats the lips with sheer color and a glossy sheen that feels so comfortable, while also being long lasting. Salut! is a pinky nude that is the exact color of my lips, only better ;) TheBalm always gets an A+ for their cute vintage packaging, but I’m obsessed with this lippie formula!

Moroccan Magic Argan & Essential Oil Lip Balm in Peppermint Eucalyptus – Full Sized – (Buy here)

You can always find lip balm lying around our house, which you can thank my husband for. He is totally addicted to lip balm 😂 So I’m always happy to add another to his collection… but I might just hang onto this one. This creamy balm instantly hydrates the lips, smells minty fresh, and I love the mild tingle of the peppermint and eucalyptus oils.

This pink lilac shade is so unique and fun for the summertime. I look forward to rocking this shade soon.

Sugar Cosmetics Kohl of Honour Intense Kajal in Black Out – Full Sized – (Buy here)

I was impressed with how creamy and easily this retractable eye pencil glided on the lash line, not to mention how long lasting it is. I swatched this initially on my hand and after it dried down, it did not budge or fade.Overall Rating: I was very happy with April’s Ipsy Glam Bag so I’m giving this month a rating of 9/10 stars, based on my first impressions. I enjoyed the overall product selection and I appreciated that they included 3 full sized products. My favorite picks of the batch are The Balm Creamy Lip Stain and Moroccan Magic Lip Balm.
