Ipsy Glam Bag September 2016 Unboxing

Hi loves! Today, I will be sharing with you the contents of my September Ipsy Glam Bag! I have been out of the country so I fell behind on the unboxings, but I am working to catch up on them all 😉 Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that provides 5-6 sample/full-sized items for $10/month. What I like about Ipsy is that the price encompasses shipping, and it regularly includes full sized products in a cute cosmetics bag. Let’s dive right in and get started!

Pixi Mattelustre Lipstick in Rose Naturelle – Deluxe Sized – (pixibeauty.com)1

Full-coverage, adjustable-finish lipstick for long lasting, vivid lip colour with a plumping effect (pixibeauty.com). I’ve seen this Pixi brand in Target stores, but never tried anything from their line. This is a lovely mauvey-brown shade, perfect for the fall and winter months. Retail price for a full sized is $12.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Autumn Glow – Full Sized (0.21 oz)

This creamy, non-comedogenic Mineral Blush gives you a beautiful, healthy flush that looks natural. Recommended by make-up artists and dermatologists, this award-winning blush is talc-free, paraben-free, and suitable for all skin types and conditions (ipsy.com). This loose powder blush is a lovely bronzey peach shade with a shimmer finish. There is so much product in the sifter, I don’t think I could ever go through this much loose powder blush.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara – Deluxe Sized (0.17 fl oz)

I have smaller eyes so I like that the brush is not at all big or bulky, perfect for coating those shorter inner corner and lower lashes.

Eva Nyc Forget Me Knot Dry Conditioner – Deluxe Sized (0.75 oz)

The Forget Me Knot Conditioner is a weightless spray that detangles without water, softens the cuticle and eliminates static and frizz. Hair is left refreshed, smooth and static-free (eva-nyc.com). What a unique concept! This is the first time I’ve seen a conditioner that is meant to be sprayed on dry hair. Stay tuned for an update! 😉

Be A… Bombshell Nail Polish in Holy Fuschia – Full Sized (0.46 fl oz) – Retail Price $6 (beabombshellcosmetics.com)

One-swipe-wonder… A single coat is all you need…Intense finish that can’t help but throw shade…Knows how to stay put…Long-lasting formula won’t chip easily (ipsy.com). This dark fuschia shade is absolutely gorgeous! I am definitely going to be rocking this color throughout the colder months.

Overall Rating: I would give this month’s Glam Bag a rating of 4/10 stars, based on my first impressions. The deluxe sizes were generous, particularly the mineral blush, which will last quite some time, so the value is there. Unfortunately, I personally was just not very impressed with my selection of products. The only product I am excited to try out is the fuschia nail polish. For myself, September’s Glam Bag was a dud, but I am crossing my fingers Ipsy will come through next month 😉
