Ipsy July 2019 Glam Bag Unboxing and Review

Hi dolls! Today, I’m sharing with you my review of July’s Ipsy Glam Bag! You can find my June Ipsy Glam Bag here. Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that provides 5-6 sample/full-sized items for $10/month. What I like about Ipsy is that the price encompasses shipping, and it regularly includes full sized products in a cute cosmetics bag (sign up here).

Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Babe Alert – Deluxe Sized – (Buy here)

Smashbox has a very comfortable mousse-like formula that is ultra lightweight, pigmented, and longlasting. Babe Alert is described as a nude rose, that’s just a tad pinker than I’m used to, but I’m not mad at it. It actually gives a really pretty, blotted stain look to the lips.

Red Earth Brighten Concentrate Oil with Kakadu Plum – Deluxe Sized – (Buy here)

My ultra dry skin loves facial oils so I’m excited to incorporate this into my skincare routine, particularly during the dryer winter months. This is also a generous sample size that will last me quite some time.

Dilly Delight Real Egging Pack – Sample Sized – (Buy here)

Would you like a side of bacon with that? 🥓 This is the most unique sleeping mask I’ve ever seen! You mix the egg yolk and whites to make your freshly scrambled sleeping mask 😂 I applied a pretty thick layer of this yummy scented sleeping mask before bedtime and woke up with very hydrated skin. I will definitely be using this again when my skin craves an extra dose of moisture. For innovation and kick butt packaging alone, this egg mask gets major brownie points.

La Beaute Fatale Brow Fixx Tint and Shaper in Dark Brunette – Full Sized – $28 (Buy here)

This tinted brow gel has a rounded brush, which admittedly, I don’t love how wide it is. I prefer a narrow brush for precision around the tip of the brows. If you can get over that factor, formula wise, this works fine for adding tint and shape to your brows.

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Crown of my Canopy – Full Sized – $5.49 (Buy here)

I would be so much more excited to receive this highlighting powder, if I didn’t already own this shade. Still, that doesn’t take away from the incredibly creamy, pigmented formula which gives a gorgeous glow to the skin. You can find an entire dedicated blogpost review here.Overall Rating: I am generally satisfied with July’s Ipsy Glam Bag so I’m giving this month a rating of 8/10 stars, based on my first impressions. Overall, there was a good value in this month’s bag and they performed pretty well. The products I’m most excited about are the Dilly Delight Egg Mask and Smashbox Liquid Lipstick.
