Ipsy June 2019 Glam Bag Unboxing and Review
Hi dolls! Today, I’m sharing with you my review of June’s Ipsy Glam Bag! You can find my May Ipsy Glam Bag here. Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that provides 5-6 sample/full-sized items for $10/month. What I like about Ipsy is that the price encompasses shipping, and it regularly includes full sized products in a cute cosmetics bag (sign up here).June’s Glam Bag comes with 6 products in this cool color-block patterned pouch.
- Glow For a Cause Lip Love lip Balm in Flirt – Full Sized – (Buy here)
Can you ever have enough lip balms? My lip balm addict of a husband doesn’t seem to think so 🤣 The lip balm is on the waxy side, but does provide additional hydration, plus I really enjoy the light watemelon scent. The hubs will be excited to add this to his collection.
- Tetris x Ipsy Eyeshadow in T-Spin – Full Sized – (Buy here)
How cute is this Tetris-themed compact? I personally don’t gravitate towards cool toned eyeshadows, but this is a beautiful silvery, pewter shade. The formula is creamy, pigmented, and ultra metallic giving a bright pop of glitter on the center of the lids.
-
Sugar Cosmetics Contour De Force Mini Blush in Peach Peak – Deluxe Sized – (Buy here)
This adorable blush has the creamiest texture and blends beautifully on the cheekbones. However, Peach Peak is a tad too light for my skintone, so I will be passing it along to a friend with a fairer complexion, whom I know would get more mileage out of this.
- Farmacy Hydrating and Brightening Coconut Gel Sheet Mask Duo – Full Sized – (Buy here)
I believe I’ve tried these sheet masks years ago, but they’ve since updated the packaging. I applied the brightening mask before bedtime and was very impressed by how smooth, plump, and bright my skin looked the next morning. Hydrating and Brightening? Yes, please!
-
TonyMoly Vital Vita 12 Jelly Cleanser – Deluxe Sized – (Buy here)
This cleanser has a true jelly consistency, which you definitely feel as you’re lathering it onto your skin. The formula does not foam up, but rinses clean without stripping the skin of moisture. I would not recommend this for makeup removal, but it works fine as a morning cleanser.
Overall Rating: I was happy with June’s Ipsy Glam Bag so I’m giving this month a rating of 8/10 stars, based on my first impressions. Admittedly, I was initially not very excited about the overall product selection, but I was impressed with their performance after actually putting them to the test. Plus, Ipsy gets bonus points for a very aesthetically pleasing Tetris theme this month. The products I’m most excited about are the Farmacy Sheet Masks and TonyMoly Jelly Cleanser.
What did you receive in your June Ipsy Glam Bag? Which products are you most excited to test out?
XO,
Mary Dee
