June Monthly Empties and Reviews
Hi, everyone! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far. Today we will be going over June’s Product Empties! You can find my Product Empties from May here. Each of these products will be accompanied by a mini review, and recommendation on whether or not I would repurchase.
MAKEUP
Chapstick Moisturizer in Green Apple: I gave this a try solely because I am a sucker for anything green apple flavored. Besides its yummy scent, it’s a classic balm that hydrates without feeling heavy or sticky. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but I would not repurchase because I prefer a thicker balm that will really penetrate chapped lips.
Fullips Lipliner in Cinnamon: I received this as a free gift with purchase of the Fullips Lip Enhancers and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this lipliner. The formula is creamy and long lasting while Cinnamon is a gorgeous mauve that pairs beautifully with all my nude lipsticks. I don’t think this is available anymore, which is a shame because it was a great lipliner.
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in No.31 Golden Beige: This is still my favorite BB cream of all time. It gives great coverage while providing skin benefits, such as lightening my dark spots. It never clogs my pores and I genuinely feel my skin looks better after I’ve used it during the day. My only gripe with this product is the lack of deeper shade selections. I alternate between No. 29 and No. 31 and those are the darkest shades they offer. Other than that, I love this product and have repurchased it numerous times.
Pacifica Sundreams Lotus Infused Bronzer in Sunkissed: I received this years ago in an Ipsy Glam Bag (blogpost here) and it has lasted me forever. The bronzer is very pigmented, blendable, and has a satin sheen which gives you a healthy all over glow. I would definitely recommend and repurchase this bronzer in a full sized.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion: Urban Decay makes beautiful eye pencils that are ultra creamy, pigmented, and come in a wide ranges of beautiful shades. Perversion is pitch black and glides like a dream on the waterline, but does not last as long as I would like on my bottom lash line. I’m happy to continue using the deluxe samples I receive in subscription boxes, but I personally would not purchase a full sized.
Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Mascara: This high-end mascara is actually one of the few that is worth its hefty price tag. The narrow brush reaches every single lash, quickly building length and volume. The formula is pitch black and doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day. It doesn’t budge until you remove it at the end of the night. Darn you Make Up For Ever, but I LOVE this mascara.
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara: This mascara has the Goldilocks of brushes, not too big and not too small. It is just right for evenly distributing length and volume to your lashes. It has a drier formula for a non-waterproof formula so it holds a curl nicely. Again, this mascara is on the high end, in terms of pricing. However, I found Tarte frequently has sales, promotional deals, and sample kits including their signature mascara so you can snag this for much less than its retail price. I hoard deluxe samples of this mascara in my collection, which I received from sampler kits and free gifts with purchases 😉
SKINCARE
Shara Shara Real Sauce Strawberry Mask: I received this sheet mask in a Memebox, a box of curated Korean Skincare based on your skin type. It smells so good, like strawberries, and felt very cooling on the skin. I didn’t see a huge difference in brightening after usage, but it did leave my skin feeling moisturized and I throughly enjoyed the treatment.
Tarte Maracuja Oil: This is the original product that kicked off my obsession with facial oils. I cannot go back after seeing how much more moisturized my dry skin has become since incorporating oils into my skincare routine. This scentless maracuja oil is on the thicker sider so I recommend it for nighttime use, but it does an amazing job of hydrating dry skin. I can’t recommend it enough.
BODYCARE
Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter: I generally enjoy Pacifica Body Butters as they are lightweight, absorb quickly, and come in a range of yummy scents. Unfortunately, this Indian Coconut Nectar bottle has just gone bad, so much that I can’t get over the scent so I’m throwing it away.
Delectable Body Lotion in Coconut and Cream: This sweet coconut scent smells delicious! It reminds me of those Banana Boat/Hawaiian Tropic Suntan Lotions and thereby, tropical vacations 😉 The formula is creamy, but not as thick as a body butter, and absorbs quickly into the skin. I would recommend this if you are looking for a sweet summer scented lotion.
HAIRCARE
Morrocanoil Treatment: After I’ve shampooed and conditioned, I add a drop of this to the ends of my hair to prevent frizz and add shine. I liked it while it lasted, but would not repurchase as I need to make my way through my stash of hair oils.
NAILCARE
imPress Press-On Manicure: I received these press on nails in a Walmart Beauty Box and loved the super cute design and ease of application. These have a built in adhesive so you don’t need to apply any nail glue. You just measure the right size for each nail, stick it on, and boom, manicure complete. I get about 4 days of wear-time, before I start picking at them, thereby lifting them up (don’t do as I do). If you don’t have time to hit up the nail salon or paint your nails, these are a great fix.
Have you tried any of these products? What are your June Empties? I would love to hear about your product recommendations so please leave a comment below.

Mary Dee

The Missha is still on my wishlist 😀 I just have to find somewhere where I can purchase it from and avoiding paying taxes :/ If I buy over 11 USD I’m already at risk getting caught at the customs 🙁
