Kaja Roller Glow Roll On Highlighting Balm Review and Swatches
Hiii, dolls! Today, I’m bringing you my review of the Kaja Roller Glow Roll On Highlighting Balm, which I received complimentary from Influenster! As usual, I am grateful for the opportunity to partake in these campaigns, but I will always provide an honest review, based on my personal experience :)
Kaja Roller Glow Roll On Highlighting Balm in Cosmic Laundry – Retail Price $28 – Buy Here
This duo-chrome highlighting balm emits a pink pearlescent glow with a golden undertone to compliment all skin tones. It reflects light, creating a disco glow that dries to a lightweight powder finish. The smooth, balm texture melts into skin without caking. The unique roller applicator is designed to apply an even, soft-focus glow (sephora.com). Packaging: While the bulky pink packaging is not the most travel friendly, it is still very cute. I appreciate that it includes a mirror and that the roller brush stays secured in the compact with a solid click. This also comes with a roller applicator refill for hygienic purposes, I’m assuming. Color: Cosmic Laundry is currently the only shade offered and is described as a pink pearlescent glow with a golden undertone, which I agree is pretty spot on.Formula: True to its name, this highlighter has more of a waxy balm texture than a cream. The formula blends out easily and imparts a natural dewy sheen to the skin, but is also buildable for a more intense glow. I enjoy a pigmented highlighter, but I always prefer finely milled shimmers, so I’m personally not a fan of the chunky pink glitters. 🤷Application: I’ve tried using the roller many, many times, but no matter how hard I dig into the pan, I can’t seem to pick up enough product. If someone has tried this product, please let me know I am not alone! 🙏🏼 I’ve found the best way to apply this cream is patting it in with a beauty sponge or with your handy dandy fingers.Swatches:Overall Rating: Based on my experience, I’m awarding this Kaja Roller Glow Roll On Highlighting Balm a 5/10 stars. In a highly competitive market, I appreciate that Kaja put forth a unique concept. However, when it came to practical application, I have not been swayed. I don’t believe the formula justifies the $28 price tag. There are much more affordable cream highlighters on the market, such as the Colourpop Super Shock Highlighters, that outperform this product.
What are your thoughts on the Kaja Roller Glow Highlighter? Would you try this Highlighting Balm?
