Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you’re all having a great weekend so far! The hubs and I just returned from a little couple’s getaway in Pismo Beach on the Central Coast. The ocean is so relaxing and therapeutic, which is exactly what we both needed 🙂 Today, I’m back at it again with a review of the Makeup Revolution Blushing Heart Triple Baked Highlighters! The adorable heart-shaped packaging totally caught my eye while browsing the Ulta App so naturally, they were added to my shopping cart.What it is: Makeup Revolution’s Blushing Hearts Highlighter is a triple baked obsession that you’re bound to fall in love with! This heavenly baked highlighter has three shades merged together to highlight and enhance features with a hint of shimmer (ulta.com).

Packaging: Ok, can we talk about this crazy cute packaging?! I love everything from the tattoo logos on the outside box to the heart-shaped container inside. Yes, it is very reminiscent if not a total dupe of the Too Faced Sweethearts Blush and Bronzer, which I personally have not tried so I cannot compare their formulas. But those both retail for $30 each, while these Makeup Revolution Highlighters are a fraction of the price.Formula: I was totally blown away by the quality of these triple baked highlighters. O my goodness, when you dip your fingers in the powder, it seriously feels like buttaaah ? It is so smooth and creamy to the touch. The formula is so blendable, yet intensely pigmented and highly reflective. I made the mistake of using a heavy hand, swirling my fan brush in the product then dousing my cheekbones, and I felt like I was a walking lighthouse It was blinding. So if you are more into the natural glow like myself, I highly recommend using a lighter hand and layering until you reach your desired gleam.Swatches: Goddess of Love is a unique duochrome shade that has a golden peach base with pink and lavender reflects throughout. Goddess of Faith is a stunning pale champagne shade that will glisten on fair to medium skintones. I will say that both these shades are on the lighter side so they might come off a bit ashy on deeper skintones. I would love to see Makeup Revolution expand their color selection to add more deep, golden shades to the line. I’m hardpressed to pick a favorite among the two, but if I had to choose, Goddess of Faith is my personal pick 😉 Overall Rating: I was highly impressed with the quality and performance of these Makeup Revolution Triple Baked Highlighter so I award them 10/10 stars. I absolutely adore the creamy formula, delightful packaging, and affordable price point. These powders are pigmented enough to give you an intense highlight if so desired, or a subtle all-over-glow with a lighter hand. These flattering shades are incredibly beautiful and I would love to see even more shades from the brand. I give these babies two thumbs up and highly recommend adding these to your highlighter collection!
