Milani Haul and Reviews

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a great week so far 😃 Today, I’m sharing with you a review of these Milani products that I got in my recent Ulta Haul! It’s so awesome that Ulta now carries Milani products online and at my local store. I’ve always enjoyed Milani products and now it’s even easier to shop, all in one place 🙌

Milani Make It Last Setting Spray Prime + Correct + Set – Retail Price $9.99 (Buy here)

Lock in makeup’s just-applied look for all day wear up to 16 hours with Milani Make It Last Setting Spray Prime + Correct + Set. Spray under makeup for a mattifying primer and over makeup for lasting, crease-free, fade-free wear in any climate (ulta.com). I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this setting spray, but I have to be honest… I was let down by this 🙁 The frosted plastic bottle is very sleek and travel friendly, but I don’t love the spray nozzle which disperses the liquid in a horizontal sheet (if that makes sense). Even though I followed the directions to spray in a “zigzag formation”, I had to douse myself in order to evenly distribute this all over my face, leading me to use more than I’m used to. Also, despite it locking makeup in place and melting away most of the powdery look, I was not impressed with the drying finish it left on my skin. I feel this might be better suited for those with oilier skin types looking for a matte finish. I don’t think this was a terrible product, so I’m putting it aside for now until I’m back in a humid, tropical climate. With my current desert dry skin, I’ll be sticking to a more hydrating spray, such as my beloved ELF Makeup Mist and Set. Overall Rating: 6/10 stars.

Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder in Dayglow – Retail Price $9.99 (Buy here)

Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder makes strobing and highlighting easy for beauty novices to experts alike. Light-reflecting pearls create a radiant finish that define your features with a healthy, warm glow. Available in a range of shades to flatter every complexion (ulta.com). How chic is this gold packaging with the wavy shell imprint? Daylight is a gorgeous champagne shade that would look flattering on a wide range of skintones. The formula is soft, blendable, and super pigmented. I’ve used this on my cheekbones and the inner corners of my eyes and lemme tell you, this highlighter really packs a punch. My only caveat is that because of its strong reflects, it does bring attention to any texture you have on your skin. I recommend being wary of where you apply, but other than that, this is a beautiful highlighter. Overall Rating: 9/10 stars.

Milani Amore Shine Liquid Lip Color in Delight – Retail Price $8.99 (Buy here)

Liquid lip color and high gloss come together in Milani’s bold, richly pigmented Amore Shine Liquid Lip Color. Get a mirror-like shine in one swipe with a lightweight, never-sticky feel while collagen microspheres and high shine polymers give the appearance of fuller, soother lips. Shine on in kiss-perfect shades (ulta.com). This liquid lip formula reminds me a lot of the NYX Intense Butter Gloss. It has a thicker consistency than a regular lipgloss, but still glides on easily and as pigmented as a liquid lipstick, with a high shine finish. I love the gold packaging, while the pointed doe foot applicator does a great job of quickly and evenly distributing product over the lips. I ordered this online so I assumed Delight was the typical nude shade, but this actually has a frosted shimmer to it. It may look good as a pop of shimmer in the middle of the lips, but I am not a fan of shimmer all over my lips, personally. Still, I would totally give this Amore Shine Liquid Lip another chance, but in another shade. Overall Rating: 8/10 stars.

Milani Baked Bronzer in Soleil – Retail Price $8.99 (Buy here)

Crafted on Italian terracotta tiles, Milani Baked Bronzer is all about a warm, beautiful glow with a delicate shimmer finish. Choose from soft gold to tantalizingly tan and dust it lightly on face and body (ulta.com). Initially, I did not think this was a dark enough bronzer to show up on me, but o my, this is gorgeously pigmented! 😍 The powder is so finely milled, buttery smooth, and blends like a dream. Soleil is a peachy terracotta shade with gold shimmer throughout, which adds a soft glow on its own, but also doesn’t compete with your highlighter. This is a very warm, almost orange toned bronzer, so I recommend checking out the other shades if you favor more cool toned bronzers 😊 When I’m getting ready in a rush, I use this as an all over bronzer and it does double duty as my blush. This Baked Bronzer is easily my favorite product in the entire haul. Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.Have you tried any of these Milani products? What are your thoughts on them?
