Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Skincare Review : Eye Serum, Skin Serum, Night Cream

Founded in 1989, Murad was introduced as the first brand of clinical skincare products, setting a new standard for high performance skincare.  Dr. Murad’s vision was “to bring skincare professionals of all stripes together to work as a team, using scientifically proven formulas and technologies, to help people achieve the healthiest, most beautiful skin possible”.Naturally, I was ecstatic when they were kind enough to reach out with the opportunity to test out their new Retinol Youth Renewal Skincare line!  This trio includes their Eye Serum, Skin Serum, and Night Cream. Any product that promises to speed cell turnover to increase radiance and reduce hyper pigmentation, I’m in.  I’ve had about two months to put these products to the test and formulate my own opinions.  Please read on to see my rating of each product based on my personal experience.

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Eye Serum – Retail Price $85 – Buy Here

A top-selling retinol serum to improve the look of lines and wrinkles in as little as two weeks (sephora.com).  I am fortunate I’ve yet to begin my battle tackling wrinkles (though it’s never too early to be proactive), so I have a tricky time grading eye creams.  How would I know if it actually lived up to its anti wrinkle claims?! 😭 So, by judging this solely on its immediate performance, I quite enjoy this eye cream.  I like the sleek packaging and extra hydration, which my dry winter skin appreciates.  I have no complaints, though I did rate it on a tougher scale, due to its higher price point.  Overall Rating: 7/10 Stars.

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Serum – Retail Price $89 – Buy Here

A top-selling retinol serum to improve the look of lines and wrinkles in as little as two weeks (sephora.com).  This is easily my favorite Murad product to date!  I saw immediate results after only one use.  A little goes a long way, so one pump dispenses enough serum for me to cover my entire face and neck.  This lightweight cream tingles slightly upon application, but isn’t enough to irritate my skin, and goes away quickly on its own.  I apply this right before bedtime and wake up in the morning with noticeably brighter and tighter skin, plus I haven’t had any new breakouts since I started incorporating this into my nighttime routine.  This serum, in my honest opinion, is worth every penny and my favorite pick of the batch.  Overall Rating: 10/10 Stars.

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream – Retail Price $82 – Buy Here

A nurturing retinol night cream that visibly improves firmness and radiance, minimizes lines and deep wrinkles, evens tone, and intensely hydrates (sephora.com).  First off, I dig the unique push top packaging, which dispenses just the right amount of product to cover my entire face.  This lightweight night cream hydrates and moisturizes without feeling overly thick or greasy.  I enjoy this most when combined with the Youth Serum, which contributes to my waking up with noticeably tighter and brighter skin.  Overall Rating: 8/10 Stars.
