Nordstrom Rack Haul and Reviews: Baublebar, Quay Australia, Makeup Geek, Ofra Cosmetics
Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your weekend so far. Today, I’m sharing with you some goodies from my Nordstrom Rack Haul! I love shopping their clearance section online periodically for some major steals. This time, I was able to score some accessories and makeup at a steep discount. 👏
Baublebar Rosabella Tassel Drop Earrings – Retail Price $38 $9.97 (Buy here)
A thread-wrapped stud combines with a monochromatic color palette, making these tassel earrings a pair no jewelry lover can live without (baublebar.com). I’ve been rocking these earrings nonstop this summer. They’re so lightweight, don’t irritate my sensitive ears, and the pastel pink color stands out, yet still complements my summer outfits. I want these in every color. Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.
Baublebar Tinsley Beaded Tassel Drop Earrings – Retail Price $38 $9.97 (Buy here)
Beaded tassels and crystal-encrusted adornments make these drop earrings a shimmery addition to your retro-chic style (nordstromrack.com). I love the tassels and silver sparkle details, which really jazz up an outfit. The only negative to these earrings is that they are definitely on the heavy side, so I cannot wear them for long periods of time. For a dinner date or quick night out, they are super cute. Overall Rating: 8/10 stars.
Quay Australia Private Eyes Sunglasses – Retail Price $60 $24.97 (Buy here)
These are my second pair of sunnies in the exact same style and gunmetal blue color. TSA scratched my first pair when we went through airport security (😒) so I had to order a replacement. The Private Eyes style is my personal favorite from Quay’s entire collection. The aviator shape is flattering and just the right size so it doesn’t overwhelm my face. The metal frames are lightweight, while the reflective lenses shield my eyes completely on makeup-free days. Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.
Ofra Long Lasting Lipsticks in Bel Air, Sao Paolo, and Havana Nights – Retail Price $19.90 $4.97 (Buy here)
OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick is a one-step full lip color that does not feather, vibrant colors will give you a vivacious new look. They are creamy and soft in texture, moisturizing the lips and creating a long lasting lipstick effect (nordstromrack.com). Ofra makes one of my favorite liquid lipstick formulas ever, so at only $5 a pop (even with the older packaging), I had to add more shades to the collection. Their mousse-like formula is lightweight and pigmented, coating the lips in opaque color with one thin layer. It dries down matte, and is long lasting, but never drying on the lips. Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.
Makeup Geek Highlighter in Daybreak – Retail Price $20 $11.97 (Buy here)
The super-smooth and incredibly pigmented formula provides a reflective luminosity that ranges from subtle to extreme – use a light hand for a natural, lit-from-within glow or pack it on for an intense, strobe effect (makeupgeek.com). I was impressed with how quickly Makeup Geek worked with Hautelook to ship this blush out. I received this only about a week after the other Nordstrom Rack products arrived. The gunmetal compact, sleek mirror, and geometric imprint is tres chic. Daybreak looked so dark in the pan I was certain I would have to use it as a blush topper, but it applies much lighter on the cheekbones. The formula is very creamy, pigmented, and gives the skin a gorgeous, almost wet looking highlight, that doesn’t emphasize texture. Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.Have you tried any of these products? What are your favorite finds from Nordstrom Rack?
XO,
Mary Dee
