November Monthly Favorites and Reviews
Hi dolls! Today, I’m sharing with you my November Favorites, and the last Monthly Favorites of 2018! These are all the products, from beauty to skincare and fashion, that I couldn’t put down in November. I hope you enjoy!
MAKEUP
Physician’s Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer: This is very comparable to the Becca Backlight Priming Filter, but at a fraction of the cost. I honestly can’t tell the difference between the consistency and performance of both products. I like everything about the packaging from the sleek glass bottle, to the ombre cap with a pump. This primer has very finely milled shimmers that gives the skin the most gorgeous luminous glow. It doesn’t necessarily fill in my pores or prolong the wear-time of my makeup, but my foundation glides smoothly on top like buttaaahh. If you are looking for a very natural, glow from within look, you will love this illuminating primer.NYX Foundation Mixer in Olive: This Foundation Mixer has become a staple in my makeup routine. I returned the shade Deep because it was too dark and ashy with my skin tone, but Olive works like magic. I mix about 2-3 drops with my BB creams or foundations that are too light/pink-toned, and they match me perfectly. It adjusts and customizes the foundation shade, but doesn’t affect the formula or coverage.Flower Beauty Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer: The formula is so creamy, blends out beautifully, and gives full coverage with a natural satin finish. I have the shade Light/Medium and I love how it brightens my undereye area and highlights my nose.Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer: This has a very creamy and blendable formula that works great with my dry skin. It gives medium, buildable to full coverage, with a natural satin finish that doesn’t crease, after I’ve set it with a translucent powder. Medium/ Dark is a shade too dark to brighten my undereye area, but I layer the Flower Beauty Concealer in Light/ Medium on top and I’m good to go.Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette: I’ve dedicated an entire blogpost review with swatches of this palette, which you can find here. In short, this is a beautiful, cohesive palette that makes it a breeze to quickly create everyday eyelooks. I find myself reaching for it frequently.Milani Stellar Lights Highlighter Palette in Rose Glow: This highlighter trio has a creamy, buttery formula that is also super pigmented and highly reflective. I love that it packs a punch, but doesn’t emphasize the texture of my skin. I like applying Pearl, the lightest shade on the left, on my browbone and inner corners of my eyes. Golden Quartz, the middle shade, is stunning on the cheekbones and forehead, while Rose Gold, the last shade on the right, is a beautiful blush topper. Honestly, I like this palette’s formula even more than Milani’s individual highlighter pans. As for the chic wavy shell imprint, sleek gold compact, and travel friendly packaging? Bomb. 👌Makeup Geek Blush in Chivalry: I adore the Makeup Geek Blush formula. They are all creamy smooth, buttery, and blends like a dream. This berry shade is super pigmented, so a little goes a long way.Butter London Double Decker Lashes Mascara: This mascara wand is on the larger side so I can only use it on my upper lashes, but the formula is excellent. It doesn’t curl my stubbornly straight lashes, but it quickly builds volume to my wimpy lashes without weighing them down.Ofra Long Lasting Lipsticks in Sao Paulo: Ofra’s mousse-like formula is lightweight and pigmented, coating the lips in opaque color with one thin layer. It dries down matte and is long-lasting, but never drying on the lips. Sao Paulo is a light pinky nude that pairs beautifully with a rosy mauve lipliner.NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Peanut Brittle: The Intense line is even more pigmented than the original NYX Butter Glosses, coating the lips in opaque color with just one layer. I love the cake batter scent and ultra shiny, long-lasting formula. Peanut Brittle is a flattering nude that stands well on its own, but also layers well.
SKINCARE
Lancôme Tonique Confort Re-Hydrating Comforting Toner: I’ve used this Lancome Toner almost every night since I received it in an Influenster VoxBox (blogpost here). This is easily the most moisturizing facial toner I’ve ever tried. I apply a generous amount on a cotton pad all over my face after cleansing and it removes any leftover impurities, without drying out my skin. It leaves it feeling moisturized, without a tacky residue. My skin just feels clean and baby soft.
FASHION
Baublebar Tassel Earrings: I’ve been wearing these earrings constantly since my Nordstrom Rack Haul (blogpost here). They’re so lightweight, don’t irritate my sensitive ears, and the pastel pink color stands out, yet still complements my outfits. I want these in every color to rock it well into the winter months.
RANDOM FAVORITES
Tahitian Vanilla Tea: My girlfriend brought this Tahitian Tea back for me from when she honeymooned in Bora Bora (🙄 Girl, I know). I rediscovered it in my pantry and finished the entire cannister in a month! I always reach for tea to get my caffeine fix. It gives the same boost of energy as coffee, but without the comedown or jitters. This tasted so smooth and yummy that I didn’t need any additional sweetener or cream to enjoy it. I NEED to get my hands on more.
Have you tried any of these products? What are your favorite products from the month of November?

That primer sounds so great and I’m kind of upset I can’t try it out in person. I do sometimes shop from a US site so I’ll have take a look and see if they carry this one 🙂
