OOTD : Affordable Summer Floral Dress

Hi, dolls!  Today, I’m sharing with you my Outfit of the Day, a new series I’ll be adding regularly to the blog.  Forever 21 recently had a 15% off sale on their entire website, and I saw an opportunity to stock up on some cute, affordable dresses for summer!  I got this post up as soon as I could, so this dress is still be in stock as of today, if you’re interested 🙂

Forever 21 Smocked Halter Floral Dress – Retail Price $22 (Buy here)

This slub knit maxi dress in an allover rose floral print has a smocked bodice, self-tie halter neckline, elasticized back cutout beneath a mock bow detail, and a relaxed silhouette (forever21.com).  This dress looked so cute online that I picked it up in Mustard and in Red, but it also comes in Black and Navy.  Be forewarned that if you are taller than 5’3″, this might be a tad short and cut you off at the ankles.  I’m 5’2″ and the hem is the perfect length to wear with sandals, and not have the dress drag on the floor.  I have that issue with a lot of maxi dresses.  Shorty problems 🙂 I got this dress in a medium and it fits like a glove.  The silhouette is very flattering and I love the floral print with the bow detailing on the back.  Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.
