Primera Alpine Berry Water Cream Korean Skincare Review

Primera is a Korean Skincare brand that formulates products with powerful seed and sprout extracts captured at the peak of potency and without chemicals like parabens and synthetic fragrances to bring effective products that are “pure, potent, and planet-friendly”. Primera was kind enough to gift me their Alpine Berry Water Cream, so I thought I’d share with you a quick review today.

This skin-softening cream absorbs quickly, offering lasting moisture and nourishment without feeling the least bit greasy. It is formulated with an Alpine Berry Complex™, a potent blend of wild strawberry sprouts with natural moisturizing factors known to survive in the harsh Alpine region, and antioxidant-rich blackberries to deliver intense hydration and radiance, while helping protect skin against environmental factors (amazon.com). Buy here.The highlighted ingredients in this cream include Coconut-derived Oil, to nourish and soothe dryness, and Artemisia Extract, which helps strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier. As someone with very dry skin, this is right up my alley.The sky blue jar packaging is pretty and calming to gaze upon. This moisturizer has a slight herbal scent, which I personally enjoy, but just a heads up for anyone who doesn’t like fragrances in their skincare.I expected this water cream to have a clear gel texture, but it actually has a classic opaque cream consistency. The formula feels lightweight and refreshing, almost cooling on the skin.  For a water cream, I was pleasantly impressed with how moisturized it left my skin.  I prefer a thicker, heavier cream for extra hydration as a part of my nighttime routine. However, this works fantastic for a daytime cream, as it provides ample moisture, while creating a nice base for makeup. Buy here.
