R and Co Haircare Review

According to their website, R+Co is a collective of some of the most forward-thinking, rule-bending hairstylists in the business.  They were kind enough to reach out to me and let me choose a couple of products from their line to try out and review.  I admit, I’ve never heard of the R+Co haircare brand prior.  It was so hard to choose from their selection because they have so many neat haircare products, especially in the coolest packaging 😍 In the end, I opted for the Skyline Dry Shampoo and High Dive Moisture Shine Cream.  Please read on to see my rating of each product based on my personal experience :)

R+Co High Dive Moisture and Shine Creme – Retail Price $29 – Buy Here

Plunge into deep hydration and reflective shine with HIGH DIVE. Formulated to smooth and seal the hair, it moisturizes, softens and drowns out frizz (randco.com).  Right off the bat, this moisture shine cream smells amazing.  I would love this scent in my shampoo or conditioner.  I applied a generous amount to the ends of freshly washed hair and let it air dry.  The cream feels very lightweight and smooth out frizz, without weighing down my hair or leaving a tacky feel.  Overall Rating: 7/10 Stars.

R+Co Skyline Dry Shampoo Powder – Retail Price $36 – Buy Here

Get on top of the world with SKYLINE, a dry shampoo powder that will dramatically refresh and elevate. Leaves an intensely clean feel (randco.com).  The plastic pump packaging instead of the typical dry shampoo aerosol can is so unique!  3-4 pumps dispenses plenty of product.  Once applied, it does a wonderful job absorbing oil and removing the look of greasy roots.  I’m so impressed at how much volume it adds to my hair, while prolonging the time in between washes.  My only complaint about this powder is that it initially leaves an obvious white cast, so you have to make sure you rub it into your roots really well.  Other than that, this has given my beloved Batiste Dry Shampoo some serious competition.  Overall Rating: 9/10 Stars.
