Now, onto the Recipe Box that contains 4 full size essential oils and 6 recipe cards that change every month!
The theme of the July 2021 Monthly Recipe Box is “Family Friendly / Kid & Pet Safe” and includes:
- Pink Grapefruit Oil
- Atlas Cedarwood Oil
- Spearmint Oil
- Homebody Oil
- Lavender Hydrosol
- Natural Lotion Base
- Aluminum Inhaler
- 6 Recipe Cards
- Recipe Sticker Labels
Pink Grapefruit is a fresh, sweet citrus that instantly boosts my energy and brightens my mood. Is it any surprise that it is my favorite of the bunch? On the other hand, Atlas Cedarwood is a very potent, borderline pungent woodsy scent that really packs a punch. It is just not my cup of tea, so I am not quite sure if I’d want to incorporate it into my routine. Spearmint smells exactly like it sounds: minty, leafy, and slightly sweet, like the classic Doublemint Gum. Lastly, we have Homebody, a blend of Ho Wood, Amyris, Copaiba, and Vetiver Essential Oils. This has to be the most unique scent of the four. It is a warm woodsy fragrance, but isn’t as in your face as the Atlas Cedarwood. Instead, it gives me a sense of calm and relaxation.
Every box includes 6 recipe cards, that also change every month!
The two recipes that stood out to me the most was the Self-Care Lotion and Mama Inhaler, which I’m sharing here.
I slather myself in body lotions or butters after every single shower to stay fully moisturized. I am stoked that this month included a natural lotion base so I can fully customize my own lotion with whichever scent I’d like, depending on my mood. The Aluminum Inhaler is such a sleek bottle and unique way to take your essential oils on the go!
