Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box Review May 2021
Simply Earth is an essential oil company that offers a monthly Recipe Box. Their goal is to make having a natural home fun and easy with the use of essential oils, while being committed to providing the highest quality oils at honest prices. Simply Earth believes in empowering people to make a difference and donates 13% of all their monthly profits to help end human trafficking. I have complete respect for a company that gives back to such a worthy cause. Because I was so impressed with April’s Recipe Box (review here), I wanted to continue on with the subscription and share my May Recipe Box!
Value of the Box + Coupon Code & Free Gifts
The Essential Oil Recipe Box is a $39 monthly subscription box that contains 4 full-size essential oils, 6 recipe cards, and some fun extras to make the recipes. First off, let’s dive into the Big Bonus Box!
Every subscriber will receive this Bonus Box with their first month and then another after every 6 months. It includes:
- Fractionated Coconut Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Almond Oil
- Beeswax
- 6 5ml Bottles
- 6 Roll-On Bottles
Now, onto the Recipe Box that contains 4 full size essential oils and 6 recipe cards that change every month!
The theme of the May 2021 Monthly Recipe Box is “Soap Making / Natural Cleaning” and includes:
- Tranquility Oil
- Frankincense Oil
- Oregano Oil
- Orange Oil
- Rose Clay
- Melt and Pour Soap Base
- Soap Mold
- 6 Recipe Cards
- Recipe Sticker Labels
Tranquility is blend of Orange, Lemon, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, and Amyris Essential Oils. As someone who loves her citrus scents, this has my name all over it, although this one has some bite! Is there anything more OG than Frankincense? LOL This is described as spicy and woodsy, but I find it actually very refreshing and rejuvenating. Oregano smells identical to the cooking herb you’d find in your kitchen pantry. I enjoy oregano in my pasta sauces, but I’m not sure how I’d feel about it in my soaps just yet. Last, but certainly not least, Orange is sweet, citrusy, and instantly brightens my mood. Orange is without a doubt my favorite of the bunch.
Every box includes 6 recipe cards, that also change every month!
The two recipes that stood out to me the most was the Rose Quartz Soap and Rose Sugar Scrub Soap, which I’m sharing here. Can you tell I love roses?! 😉
As someone who loves homemade soap, I am particularly giddy about this month’s theme. I can’t wait to experiment with customizing my own soap scents and molds!
If you are interested in exploring or expanding into the world of essentials oil, I highly recommend checking out Simply Earth!
