Too Faced Merry KissMas Melted Liquified Lipstick Set Review

Happy Wednesday, loves!  Today, I’m bringing you another product review, this time on the Too Faced Merry KissMas Melted Liquified Lipstick Set.  I really wanted to have this up before Christmas for obvious reasons, but sadly was delayed during the hectic holiday season.  Although Christmas has come and gone, this set is still in stock on the Too Faced website, and would make a lovely gift for the beauty junkie in your life.  I own a bunch of the Melted Lipsticks from previous holiday sets and love their creamy formula.  I was eager to add these shades to my collection and in particular, to test out the Melted Matte formula.What it is:  Have a very Merry Kissmas with four clutch-size tubes of Too Faced’s bestselling Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in original, chocolate, and matte formulas.  Melted Lipstick comfortably coats lips in bursts of intense color that lasts for hours (TooFaced.com).

Formula:The Melted Lipsticks are ultra creamy in texture and has the consistency of a true, liquified lipstick in tube form.  For that reason, it will transfer, but it also feels much more comfortable on the lips, and leaves a satin finish.  The Melted Matte in Lady Balls is much more reminiscent of the runny, liquid lipstick formula a la Colourpop. O my goodness, this bright red shade is perfection. This was my first time trying the Too Faced Matte Lipstick formula and I am in love. The doe foot applicator conforms nicely to the lips and applies so smoothly and opaquely with just one layer. It is not completely transfer proof, but dries down to a comfortable, long lasting matte finish.

Color:  This set consists of a deluxe size Melted in Chihuahua (spiced nude), Melted in Fig (dusty plum), Melted Chocolate in Honey (warm caramel), and mini Melted Matte in Lady Balls (matte true red).  This is a great selection of flattering shades, ranging from nude to red.

Swatches:

Application:  Lady Balls is a stunning, classic red that glided on the lips like a dream and one swipe was enough for an opaque finish.  This is not at all transfer proof so be wary if you are eating.

Overall Rating:  Based on my experience, I would rate this Too Faced Merry KissMas Melted Liquified Lipstick Set as 10/10 stars!  This is such a beautiful set that is perfect for gift giving and/or as an introduction to Too Faced Lipsticks. Additionally, $25 for 4 Too Faced lip products is a great deal and pretty good value to try out different shades and lip formulas from Too Faced.  I enjoy all the shades, but the standout product for me in this set is the Melted Matte in Lady Balls 😉 I totally fell in love with this matte liquid lipstick formula/shade and would definitely invest in a full sized.  This lippie set garners two thumbs up and I highly recommend it!
