Being a makeup collector myself, I find it’s pretty rare that I finish a full sized lipstick, so deluxe sample sets are a perfect way for me to try out different formulas and shades, without having to invest in a full sized. Too Faced’s innovative formula glides over lips like a gloss but dries to an ultra-matte opaque finish (sephora.com).Packaging: I can’t get over how cute this holiday packaging is. How adorable are the sweet treats design on the tubes?! As an added bonus, the lipsticks are also scented just like their respective names and treats. The yummy packaging gets an A+ in my book. 👌Formula: Too Faced Melted Matte Lipsticks have a lightweight, mousse-like formula that is also pigmented, and apply opaque with a thin even coat of color. I’ve yet to try a shade that applied streaky, even a bright red such as Cinammon Bear (pictured above). The lipsticks set quickly and are long-lasting, but also wear away comfortably as you eat and drink throughout the day.Color: This set comes with 4 shades: Pumpkin Spice, Sugar Cookie, Hot Buttered Rum, and Cinnamon Bear. The shade selection consisting of warm nudes, browns, and red are totally my jam! I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite among them, because I like them all that much.
