Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder Review
Hiii, everyone! Today, we will be reviewing the hugely popular Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powders! These highlighters have been around for awhile, but I just haven’t been able to find them at my local drugstores. Those shelves get cleared out quick! I was so pleased with the goodies from my recent Wet n Wild Haul (blogpost here) that I had to give these a try. They recently released some new colors, but I decided to stick to the two OG shades that kickstarted the cult following, Precious Petals and Crown of My Canopy. What it is: Shimmer and shine in all the right places with the same formula as our must-have MegaGlo Highlighting Powder. Its ultra-pearly finish and easy-to-blend formula makes it a fan favorite! The silky smooth, highly-pigmented powder gives an all over glow when applied to the cheek bones, brow bone, and cupid’s bow (wetnwildbeauty.com).Price: $4.99, 0.19 oz (wetnwildbeauty.com)Packaging: I like the square compact with the clear lid so you can quickly and easily identify the shade inside, but the packaging is rather cheap (understandably). I’m not sure if I got a dud, but the lid clasp on Crown of My Canopy was very flimsy and would flip open with zero pressure. I would be wary of traveling with this. The flower imprint, however, is so chic and pretty ?Formula: These highlighting powders are so creamy to the touch. The texture reminds me of the Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Highlighters, which I also adore. The formula is intensely pigmented so a little goes a long way. I like using a fan brush to apply a light wash on the cheekbones and right above the brows. It gives a gorgeous, almost wet glow to the skin without emphasizing texture of my skin. You can definitely build this up for a highly reflective sheen, if so desired.Color: I picked up two shades: Precious Petals and Crown of My Canopy. These shades are very similar to one another with minute differences. Precious Petals is a classic champagne shade. Crown of My Canopy is a deeper, peachy rose gold shade. I’ve used both shades and found them very flattering with my golden-tanned skintone. However, Crown of My Canopy may be too dark to be a highlight for those with fair to porcelain skin tones.

I love the creamy formula, shimmery effect, and you can’t beat the price point. These powders are pigmented enough to give you an intense highlight if so desired, or a gorgeous subtle glow with a lighter hand. These shades are beautiful and props to Wet n Wild for expanding their shade selection further to flatter a wider range of skintones. I love these highlighting powders and highly recommend adding them to your highlighter collection! ?
Have you tried these Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighters? What are your thoughts on the formula?
