Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks Review
Happy Wednesday, loves! Today, I’m bringing you another product review, this time on the Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks. I adore the Megalast Lipsticks as they are matte, yet creamy, and ultra pigmented at such an affordable price. So when I saw these Liquid Lipsticks all over Instagram, I had to get my hands on some to test out for myself. What it is: Made with glammed out superpowers, it goes on glossy yet transforms into a high – pigmented matte finish with some serious staying power…Glides on glossy and transforms into high – pigmented matte finish…Lightweight formula made with serious staying power…Intense pigmentation without drying the lips (wetnwildbeauty.com).
Price: $4.99 (wetnwildbeauty.com)
Color: I picked up two shades to initially test out the formula, Nudist Peach and Missy & Fierce. Nudist Peach is a peachy nude while Missy & Fierce is a fire engine red. On their website, there are currently 13 shades offered, ranging from nudes to fuschias and dark berries. This is a great selection to choose from based on your preferences.
Swatches:Formula: The formula of these lippies are reminiscent of the runny Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. The tapered doe-foot applicator conforms nicely to the lips and applies color smoothly and opaquely with just one layer. These dry down ultra matte and are completely transfer-proof. I found they do not budge through light drinking and eating. However, they will start to fade in the center of the lips if you’re going to town at the buffet 😉 I typically don’t gravitates toward peachy shades, but I am obsessed with Nudist Peach. It is my perfect peachy nude while Missy and Fierce is a stunning, classic red. They are equally amazing and I love, love, LOVE both these shades!
Overall Rating: Based on my experience, I would rate the Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks as 10/10 stars! These are amazing quality, affordable, drugstore liquid lipsticks. I will say, the ultra matte formula of these are very drying, but I personally don’t mind as that to me, is the price of longevity. They will feel a lot more comfortable if you moisturize before lipstick application. I absolutely adore the nude and red shade I tested out and would love to pick up some more colors from their range. These lippies garners two thumbs up and I highly recommend them!
Have you tried any of the Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks? What are your thoughts on the formula?
