Wet n Wild Mini Haul and Reviews
Howdy, y’all! Today, I’m bringing you a quick review of some Wet n Wild goodies I picked up while shopping at CVS! I was there solely waiting on the pharmacy and somehow, I wandered my way to the cosmetics aisle (dangerous territory, I know) when these caught my eye.
- Wet n Wild MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter in Goddess Glow – Retail Price $5.99 (Buy here)Intense is the name of the game with this buildable liquid highlighter that delivers a multi-shimmer glow thanks to its shimmering pearl pigments. The hydrating formula is infused with powerhouses like Murumuru Seed Butter, Grapeseed Oil, and Vitamin E to help smooth out the skin’s texture. You’ll look radiant–even after a sleepless night (wetnwildbeauty.com). At 0.5 fl oz, there is so much product in this bottle, I don’t think I will ever run out of liquid highlighter. Golden Goddess is a true golden champagne shade which looks particularly gorgeous with a tan. The consistency is watery, and you have to work quickly blending it in, as it sets very quickly. I really like the large doe foot applicator, which makes for precise application. The shimmers are not as fine as say, the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors, but they are also not chunky glitters, which I appreciate. This liquid highlighter gives a natural glow with one thin layer, but you can build it up for some major shimmer. I can’t wait to pack this on my upcoming beach trip for an all over glow. Overall Rating: 8/10 stars.
- Wet n Wild H2O Proof Liquid Eyeliner in Black – Retail Price $3.99 (Buy here)This liner provides lasting definition that won’t let you down. It’s waterproof, smudge-proof, and super long-lasting. Use the precise applicator brush to create everything from subtle fine lines to bold dramatic looks (wetnwildbeauty.com). This is my holy grail liquid eyeliner, from drugstore to high-end! The formula glides on so smoothly, dries to a matte, pitch-black finish, and stays on until you wash it off. Its only flaw is the hard felt tip brush which makes it difficult to draw a sharp wing on its own. I like using another precise brush tip eyeliner to first draw a sharp wing and then go over it with this one to lock the look in all day. It does not budge and I can’t be without this liquid liner! Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.
- Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Nice to Fuchsia and Flame of the Game – Retail Price $4.99 (Buy here)What glides on like butter, feels like a second skin and wont budge? Our Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick! Made with glammed out superpowers, it goes on glossy yet transforms into a high – pigmented matte finish with some serious staying power (wetnwildbeauty.com). I adore the Liquid Catsuit Liquid Lipsticks after trying out the shades, Nudist Peach and Missy & Fierce (review here) so I’m excited to add two more shades to the collection. These are amazing quality, affordable, drugstore liquid lipsticks. The ultra matte formula is very long-lasting and pigmented, but on the dryer side. They will feel a lot more comfortable if you exfoliate and moisturize well before lipstick application. Nice to Fuchsia is a beautiful… well, fuchsia or purplish pink, while Flame of the Game is a stunning, bright orange red that looks amazing with a tan. Overall Rating: 10/10 stars.
